  • Too big and too expensive... really disappointed

Really disappointed in the price point. I (and my family members) have been a big supporter of the Nexus line of phones and tablets for a few important reasons. 1) Reasonably priced 2) Unlocked phone 3) First to get updates and no bloatware. The price of $649 puts it out of the ballpark for many people. I really feel betrayed by Google. I never bought the Nexus to be cutting edge but instead to have a functional, good working, reasonably priced electronic device. It looks like I will have to find another to company to give my business too. I can no longer recommend it to friends and family as a good deal for price conscious people.

    • We're lab rats to Google

I feel the same way about the Nexus line. But have always felt that Google is simply experimenting with consumers. Their services and products come and go.

    • To bad for you

I'm happy to have a premium Nexus phone. I know the price will deter some people that were used to paying off contract. Buy it's still an excellent phone for the price. The truth is that the phone will probably make more sales on contact than any of the others have from the off contract crowd.

  • Curious?

Is GooGle having an identify crisis? If you crossed a Surface with an iPad, this is probably close to what you'd end up with.

Just what the would needs, another confused phablet. Seriously, big phones were novel in the 1990's, and were acceptable then because that was the size they were for practical reasons. So it's now fashionable to put a brick to your head again, as long as it's thin, that is. (same criticism for apple, and all the others)

Just another opinion, to get lost among the carefully harvested and analysed content on the internet by cyber collectors, who just like aluminium can collectors of old, make a profit from others discards.

Enjoy, and be free to have your own opinion, while you can!

  • Too Thick

The screen size and specs are great. But it's thicker than a Nexus 5, a Samsung Galaxy S4, and an iPhone 6 Plus.
