The holidays have come around again, and that means finding ways to entertain yourself. How about a game of high-tech hide and seek with your friends? Nerdcam shows you how.

To play high-tech hide and seek, you'll need a phone that can be tracked if lost, or an app that can share your location via a web link. We used the iPhone 4S and the "Find my iPhone" feature for our game.

Give your friend the tracked device and an amount of time to hide. You can make the playing field as big or as small as you want.

Once the time expires for your friend to hide, you're allowed a 30-second look at the tracking system to find them.

If you want to get really extreme with the idea, then you can gather a group of eight friends together and arm yourselves with a laser-tag set. The eight players should break into two teams of four, one equipped with a trackable device. The team with the trackable device sets up in the vicinity, and it's up to the other team to hunt them out.

Nerdy fun ensues!
