Reporting directly to Tom Iannotti, senior vice president and general manager, HP Enterprise Services, Caspari's promotion is effective immediately.
"Our South Pacific business enjoyed very strong growth due to a passion for client success," Caspari said in a statement.
"I am confident with an exceptional team, we will help our customers in Asia Pacific and Japan to transform their businesses through technology," he added.
Taking Caspari's place as HP's vice president for enterprise services in the South Pacific is Alan Bennett, who will move from a role in HP's Government and Defence for Enterprise Services business. Bennett previously held a position in EDS, which was integrated into HP in 2008 after a buyout.
HP has also appointed Archie Reed as its new chief technology officer for the South Pacific region. Based in Sydney, Reed will helm HP's cloud strategy down under.
HP's South Pacific shake-up follows a reshuffle of its top executive order this week.
