Hewlett-Packard has announced the availability of HP Enterprise Applications Services for Workday, solutions designed to integrate with the cloud human capital management application.

Announced on Tuesday, the PC maker said existing Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) applications used by corporations will now be easier to modernize, by shifting them from on-premise to the cloud.

Workday is an on-demand enterprise management system spanning across human capital management, employee data, time tracking, procurement and finance. The system is also tailored for mobile users. By shifting HCM applications to the cloud through HP's offering, the company claims that businesses can reduce costs, streamline HR and payroll processes, and realize a faster return on their investment.

Jim Bozzini, senior vice president of services at Workday commented:

"HP joins the Workday services partner ecosystem with a long history of successfully deploying enterprise applications on a global scale. HP is making a significant investment in building out its Workday practice and we look forward to working with them to help our mutual customers transform their businesses."

HP Enterprise Applications Services for Workday includes Workday-certified consultants and assistance in upgrading existing legacy HCM systems, developing overall cloud strategies, integration with other applications and databases, and working with mobile computing, data analytics and social media.
