I know, but I'm not a Novell Admin so it's out of my hands. Besides, I've got enough to do providing desktop support for 350 people (with one other person helping me about half the time) as well as building and deploying all new PCs and working on other projects. Not that I mind that happy but I could do without people making it harder than it needs to be.

All I can do is document the damage and go to our boss with it and convince him that giving people Admin privs is a bad idea, no matter how much they whine that they "need" it.

I suspected that but that's good to hear for sure. Time to convince my boss to rethink our desktop privileges policy.

Yup, Novell for file/print/directory services. No AD or Windows domains; all PCs are in a workgroup, so I'm at the mercy of our Novell Admins when it comes to workstation policies. Apparently ZENworks can block ActiveX and/or Java, etc. Our Admins already implemented it so we'll see if the reports of infections go away.
