I just learned last night ...
I learned for the first time last night just how bad spyware can be. My four-year-old son regularly uses my laptop to play games from various kid's web sites. This machine is running XP Pro, runs virus protection by default, has all current security updates, and I am the only member of the family wiht Administrator rights to the machine. (My wife and son are USERS ONLY!) Still, after installed Spy-Bot for the first time, I discovered 264 instances of spy-ware -- and this morning, on my desktop mahcine at work (which is only accessed by me, I found another 82!
