Glad I'm a Verizon member.

The Cingular revelation doesn't surprise me. Back in ancient times when I worked at Staples, I had to sell the Cellular One phones. It was a flaky set-up procedure back then; one that did not instill confidence on the part of the purchaser. We also received complaints about the billing system -- angry customers would storm into our Staples store, waving their monthly bills that had huge overcharge errors. So, this disclosure comes as no surprise to me. Whether the company is called Cellular One or Cingular, some things never seem to change.
