After Lotus Agenda: Lotus Notes
Lotus discontinued Agenda because it was a PERSONAL Information Manager (we supported this program in the Benelux from 1988 to 1993). In a network-world people needed a CORPORATE Information Manager. This was 1990 (before Windows) and developped in OS/2. It was a intranet, 5 years before The Internet. Now 14 years later, with more then 100 million users, with still the same architecture, you can use it for only 95$ incl. 1 year maintenance. The server-part is free under 1000 users. Lotus and later IBM they never selled as a stand-alone PIM, but it is intalled in 3 minutes and it is rock-solid program for all Windows and Apple-versions.
The standard Office-library or Journal can hold all your work. The integrated full-text search-engine find all in Gigabytes of information in parts of seconds.
A lot of IBM Business Partners made applications on it to integrate Word and Excel like we have done: http://www.FileDoc.be : It integrates all you need for yourself but also for the connected world.
ps: our application will be translated in French and English for the end of the year.
