micrologic responsiveness
I participated in the IS8 beta and, while I can't say I got everything I asked for, I found the developers to be pretty responsive in terms of what they delivered. the bullets and numbering have been a particularly important requirement for me, so I sent them some suggestions about how to implement them. they did everything I asked for (except a "start numbering" button in the toolbar) and they delivered when they said they would.

I run a product management group for a large company that develops software, so I'm aware of the conflicts that can sometimes arise in development. sometimes customers ask for things that are either inconsistent with the product or would be difficult to deliver at some point in time. And while I'm sure the Yahoo board is a good gathering place, I've been using IS for over a decade and never heard of it, much less visited it. I send my suggestions direct to Microlog and I doubt they echo them to Yahoo. Maybe other satisfied customers are doing what I do and the Yahoo boards attract primarily the people who are upset that their particular requests are not, for whatever reason, being fulfilled.

IS is far from perfect and I still have a few things on my continuing wish list, but I do think they do a pretty good job of keeping the product moving and improving.
