Reader: Where are Web tools for the rest of us?

Problems with Java?: If he's having problems with Java, may I suggest:
-He's probably doing something wrong. I've found that creating apps, even web apps, to be pretty easy. I'm not sure how it is in an Enterprise environment, but for most other stuff, I'm not having any problems.
