Blade Myth

Not sure wether i agree with the costings in this story. I did the same sort of thing to the same sort of detail and found out that it is not necessarily the hardware saving you make with blades, but the network infrastucture saving, peoples time to rack mount,cable and power each new 1u server.

We found that we made real savings in this area more so than the pure hardware savings in blades. We did find that you need 6 blades per chassis to make the hardware savings over traditional 1u servers.
