The cost of changing to a Mac is more than just the list price
All of the Windows Software that a person uses needs to be repurchased for a Mac, suddenly it is not $2000 or even $800 for an eMac, it is much more. Not a cost effective solution to the problem.

While the Mac people enjoy writing these messages keep in mind that if enough people agreed with you and made the move over to a Mac, then that machine would also enjoy the increased attention from the virus writers. Few people write viruses for the Mac not because it is impossible to do so, but rather there are not enough of you Mac users to make it worth their time.
