Stop and think about your own observation: "Microsoft has already enabled thousands of empty minds to operate computers".

By definition, since Microsoft has dummied down personal computing to the point where empty minds can operate advanced computers (and continues to dummy it down even m ore with each iteration..."It looks like you're writing a letter!"), the chances of being able to expect the very least from the majority of the user population are diminishing daily.

No, I do not expect everyone who drives a car to be a mechanic....but I do expect them to have taken (and passed) Driver's Ed.
