It is easy to eliminate half of the problem
Pick up a free copy of Mozilla Firefox at mozilla.com. It will read all of your favorites perfectly and you can browse in a stress and problem free environment. Firefox is not vulnerable to the Download.Ject or JS.Scob.Trojan. Of course, you still need to stay on top of the operating system updates. The 0.9.1 version of Firefox is a very clean and stable environment. That's my two cents . . .
