Built almost a decade ago, the Intellicentre is Macquarie Telecom's flagship data operations facility, and is in the process of an infrastructure makeover.

    Macquarie Telecom's Network Operation Centre (NOC) controls and mitigates problems and threats challenging the company's infrastructure. Surrounded by privacy glass, the NOC can detect and defend against incoming threats like distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

    Hand scanners are present on every door of the Intellicentre, where authorised personnel are required to present their biometric identifiers to prevent unauthorised access.
