Datacenter Dynamics has invited me to present at its upcoming Converged conference at the Marriott Marquis in New York on March 11th. The conference will focus on datacenter initiatives using the latest research data and trend analysis to achieve optimal results.

More than 1,000 datacenter professionals are expected to attend. The attendees typically are datacenter vice presidents, directors, and managers of datacenter operations.

Sessions will focus on topics such as:

  • Is your infrastructure ready for mobile money?
  • When the software-defined datacenter meets the reality-defined facility
  • Transition to the hyper datacenter: Information anytime, anyplace, and on any device
  • Real world data center case studies

My topic is Cloud Computing - Is it going to take over the world. I'm planning on examining the history of cloud computing, where it fits, and where it isn't the best choice.

If you are attending the event, please stop by to say hello. I'll report on it soon.

Oh, hypercenters are magical? They can reach your device even when it's got no internet connection?

    • Don't you just love the hype?

CobraA1, I guess some folks believe that unless they really turn up the hype, attendees won't come to the session.
