IT Priorities: services, support and management

IT Priorities: services, support and management

Summary: Since the release of the results from our most recent IT Priorities survey, we've been drilling down to see what that information is telling us about different IT sectors.

TOPICS: IT Priorities

Last November, ZDNet Australia published the results of its IT Priorities survey for 2011. Since then, we've been drilling down into the information provided to us by IT professionals across Australia and New Zealand, and looking at what that information is telling us about different IT sectors.

One of the areas we looked at in detail comprised IT services, support and management. We held a webinar on the topic, and you can watch the on-demand version above.

In addition to discussing the services and support functions that are topping the priority lists of IT professionals, we look at issues such as how important IT training will be in 2012, and the relative importance of initiatives like asset management.

We have also created a special version of IT Priorities to go along with this topic — you can download the report by clicking here.

Over the coming weeks, we will be publishing more in-depth reports derived from our IT Priorities survey, so please check back. If you have any areas you'd like to know more about, please let us know in the talkback section below.
