At Mobile World Congress 2014, hosted in Barcelona, mobile devices are being announced thick and fast.

Lenovo's new devices being showcased at the event include the next generation of smartphones within the S-series: the S860, S850 and S660.

The S860, encased within a metal exterior and sporting a 5.3-inch HD screen is aimed towards the business user. Lenovo says the phone has a standby time of up to 40 days, and talk time of up to 24 hours on a 3G connection. The S860 is based on quad-core processors and features 2GB of RAM.

Lenovo's S850 is focused less on productivity and more on design. Lenovo says that the thin and lightweight all-glass exterior of the phone -- available in white or pink -- will appeal to "fashion-conscious" users, and for selfie lovers, the smartphone has 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. In addition, the S850 is powered by a MTK quad core processor and sports a 5-inch screen.

Finally, the 4.7-inch S660 is aimed towards those on a budget. A phone suitable for multitasking, the smartphone sports a metal casing, has a long battery life, reasonable price and the potential for up to 32GB expandable storage via microSD cards.

All of the smartphones come with dual-SIM capability.

"The new S860, S850 and S660 smartphones perfectly complement the full range of mobile devices available to consumers around the world, letting consumers easily pick the Lenovo smartphone that’s right for them," said Liu Jun, executive vice president of Lenovo's Mobile Business Group. "Customers told us they wanted a great user experience without sacrificing performance, so we built these new smartphones for style, blazing fast processing speeds, and integrated Lenovo apps."

The Lenovo S860, S850 and S660 start at $349, $269 and $229 respectively, and will be available in online and from some retailers starting June 2014.
