The 91z also includes an HDMI-out port and optional Blu-ray drive for HD movie playback, along with a web camera for video chat and web conferencing.

Like the ThinkPad X1, the 91z comes with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which the company said results in 30-percent faster boot times than those provided by non-optimised models.

The ThinkCentre Edge 91z will be available through resellers from July, with prices starting from around $699, Lenovo said.
