LinkedIn is expanding in the Middle East.

Opened on Monday, the facility is housed in Dubai's Internet City, and will be used to support LinkedIn's five million members in the region.

Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have the most LinkedIn users in the region, according to the company. The biggest industries by member numbers are oil and energy, construction and IT.

LinkedIn has appointed a new head of hiring solutions for the region, Ali Matar, who will be charged with bolstering its recruitment business. LinkedIn's marketing in Middle East and North Africa will be sold through a partnership with Clique Media.

Along with the Dubai and Madrid offices, both of which were opened this year, LinkedIn has several other locations in the EMEA region: Paris, Milan, Stockholm, London, Munich, Milan, Dublin and Amsterdam.
