LulzSec suspect Cleary sent back to jail

Summary: Ryan Cleary from Essex, arrested on suspicion of taking part in online campaigns orchestrated by the LulzSec hacking group, has reportedly been sent back to jail after breaking his bail conditions

TOPICS: Security

Charged LulzSec associate Ryan Cleary is set to appear in court again after breaking his bail conditions, according to a report by the Associated Press.

While not a core member of LulzSec, Cleary was arrested by the Metropolitan Police mid-last year and released on bail after being charged with participating in attacks on the US Senate, the CIA, and the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency.

Cleary's bail conditions required the then 19-year-old to observe a 9am to 7pm curfew, to be electronically tagged and to only leave his home in the company of one of his parents. Cleary is also not permitted to access the internet or possess any device or product that will allow him to go online.
