Malaysia's MyEG is looking to grow its sales volume through its commercial products, and introduce new ones in the years ahead.

According to a report by Malaysia's newswire Bernama Tuesday, the e-government services provider aims to record 30 percent annual sales growth in three years' time. MyEG group managing director Wong Thean Soo said it has about three to five commercial products currently, including an online coupon system.

"We plan to achieve this target by leveraging a broader range of commercial products besides educating customers on the products that we offer," Wong said.

On Tuesday, the company also announced its deal with American International Group (AIG) to offer the latter's insurance products through MyEG's online and direct marketing platforms.

Auto insurance products will be the first to be offered, and other offerings including home contents, burglary, and personal accident coverage will come online within the next six months, said Matt Harris, CEO of AIG Malaysia, in the report.
