National Australia Bank (NAB) suffered a service outage over the weekend following an as yet unnamed system issue.

NAB told ZDNet Australia in a statement that the bank was aware of the service interruption on Sunday and the bank "work[ed] as quickly as possible to resolve the issues".
While NAB confirmed this morning that the issue had been resolved, it refused to elaborate on the cause and full extent of the service interruption.
NAB is the latest in a line of Aussie banks to suffer system issues following buggy software patches, transactional glitches and problematic security upgrades.
