Cloud financial software provider NetSuite has acquired London-based Venda to expand its omnichannel ecommerce portfolio. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Venda provides cloud-based digital commerce services for brands such as Tesco F&F Clothing and Laura Ashley. NetSuite will likely utilize Venda's Convergent Commerce Platform, which enables retailers to combine online, mobile, social and in-store efforts, to build out its NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform.

NetSuite says its acquisition of Venda increases its previous investments in cloud migration, and B2B and B2C omnichannel commerce tools. Zach Nelson, NetSuite CEO, said Venda's European footprint will enable NetSuite to expand the reach of SuiteCommerce.

"By combining Venda's deep customer insight and years of experience delivering a real-time, scalable commerce platform with NetSuite's cloud leadership, we can bring new capabilities to B2B and B2C companies of all sizes and transform how they run their businesses."
