I consider my iPhone and iPad to be tools that are part of my troubleshooting toolkit. And because I usually have at least one of my iOS devices with me, I like to have a bouquet of network and network troubleshooting apps installed.
Here is a list of my favorite iOS network and network troubleshooting apps. These apps allow me to scan networks, remotely administer systems, and even remotely administer servers.
Server Admin Remote
Remotely manage OS X servers from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Hooks into the OS X Server automatically, so no additional installs required on server box.
Very user-friendly, and a great tool for anyone responsible for OS X servers.
Download from iTunes.
