News Burst: Mac OS 8.5 coming in October
Summary: Forget a September release date, Apple CEO Steve Jobs said Tuesday during a keynote speech that the next major rev of the Macintosh operating system, Mac OS 8.5, will be released in October.
Some observers had expected a release next month. Jobs also said that Mac OS X will come out "in a little over a year".
