America Online said on Tuesday that it will sponsor the National Football League Super Bowl half-time show on Feb. 1. The show will be produced by MTV and aired on CBS. AOL plans to launch three new 30-second commercials during the show and to put out two pregame spots. Viewers will be able to go online at AOL.com to vote for their favorite commercial and to access behind-the-scenes Super Bowl content.

After the game, the Internet service provider will post a showcase featuring commercials broadcast during the game. Last year, the Super Bowl Commercial Showcase generated 5.6 million streams in two days.
