CyberArmy declares war on Net regulation

Claiming a member base of 35,000, CyberArmy claims it's assembled the largest regiment of activists the Net has ever seen. And it's vowing to take down Web sites that "abuse" the Internet and to work to remove power from governments. CyberArmy (www.cyberarmy.com) started off as a small group of advocates promoting free speech and Internet deregulation. But it has grown to a full-size army -- 35,000 members strong. Privacy concerns and government intervention have also caused it to change its views."We want to self-regulate the Internet so that the government doesn't come in and regulate it," member Marshal Yowler told ZDNet Australia.
