Hewlett-Packard on Tuesday announced that it will partner with Konica to expand its imaging and printing products for corporate customers. HP said the alliance will let it expand its product range for business customers, using Konica's expertise in copier engines. Details of the deal will be announced in coming months, and product shipments will begin later this year.

"By combining Konica's robust copier engine expertise with HP's heritage of networking and manageability, we will bring to the market one sophisticated system that is completely integrated with current HP hard-copy office products," George Mulhern, senior vice president of HP's imaging and printing group, said in a statement.
