"If it weren't for someone plagiarizing the Honeymooners, we wouldn't have the Flintstones. If someone hadn't ripped off Sgt. Bilko, there'd be no Top Cat. Huckleberry Hound, Chief Wiggum, Yogi Bear? Hah! Andy Griffith, Edward G. Robinson, Art Carney! Your honor, you take away our right to steal ideas, where are they gonna come from?"

RE: Don't understand what all the fuss is about...
The fuss is not about the UI which is copied over. It is about the code is being copied, almost verbatim.
You can easily see it by "View Source" from your browser from those two sites and comparing it over.
Of course, it only caters the javascript end (the front end) only and not the backend. However, most of AJAX heavy sites nowadays are depending a lot of javascript to create the smooth user experience.
In reference to the Flintstones, its like having the Honeymooners strip and trace copying almost everything.
