WinMo just past its Use-Before date
When they created Windows Mobile, the developers never expected it to be still used 16 years later.
Well, it started as Windows CE. Software programming got underway in 1994, and it was released 2 years later in 1996.
I think they probably used a 16-bit integer for the date. That allows them to cover a time-span of 16 years. So, if this was set in 1994, and now it's 2010...
I think Windows Mobile just went past its Use-By date.

or may be it is a typo.
2010 and 2016 looks more a typo.
If was a limitating then the date will return a past time, for example 1996 or even worst, a negative date.

Did not happen to me. My HTC TyTN with WinMo 6.0 still reports the date as 2010.
