Microsoft is not the only company showing off multitouch technology. New Zealand-based NextWindow has touch technology that can fit screens up to 100 inches, and which enables multitouch features, as vice president of marketing Anthony Uhrick demonstrates.

    It looks very similar to Microsoft's but its faster and maybe more functional. By the way, isn't 'multitouch' Apple's patented technology?

    The application / demo suite you are seeing in the first part of the video with the gestures, double touch, zoom etc. was developed with the Fingertapps application framework: http://www.fingertapps.com.

    Regarding Apple's attempts to patent multi-touch, that's going to be interesting since the concepts have been around in prior art since the 1980's...
