Nokia Mobira Cityman
The Mobira Cityman was the phone of the 'yuppies' Launched in 1990 it had a hefty price tag of around $4,500 and was considered a huge status symbol. It was much more mobile than previous models and it only weighed 28oz (800g).

The 1000 series was positioned as the most affordable phones in the market. Launched in 1992 the candybar design set the form factor for many phones in the Nokia range.

The Nokia 2xxx series were also considered to be entry level phones. The 2160, launched in 1996 was Digital Core Technology (DCT) 1, internal Nokia technology.
