Owners of Nokia Lumia 920, 820, and 620 handsets can expect to see a prompt on their devices in coming weeks with a fix for several potentially annoying bugs.

The Lumia 920 and 820 will get an update labelled Version 1232.5957.1308.00xx, which offers improved automatic display brightness adjustment, a fix for the screen which sometimes blanks out during a call, and other performance and stability improvements.

Nokia announced the update on its support forum earlier this week.

"The update will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks, so please stay patient and wait for the notification to pop up on your phone screen once your phone is eligible. The exact software version may vary between different regions," Nokia notes.

The Lumia 620 will also get a few improvements with version 1030.6407.1308.00xx. These include:

  • Improved touch screen functions, including corrections in multi-touch actions
  • Better voice quality with Bluetooth headsets that support echo/noise suppression
  • Enhanced camera performance with corrected exposure when flash is used in bright light conditions
  • Various improvements to system stability, performance, and usability

Lumia owners may also soon get a Windows Phone 8 update from Microsoft, which is tipped to include FM Radio support. An exact date is not know for that release, but it is expected to come before the arrival of Windows Phone Blue.
