Determined to turn your lowly DVD player into a full home cinema system, VideoLogic keeps expanding its speaker range.

The DigiTheatre DTS digital home cinema audio system is designed to bring top notch audio for Dolby digital 5.1 and DTS (Digital Theatre System) DVD films.

The system is made up of a dedicated centre speaker with control panel, containing a 4-inch full-range bass/mid drive unit, four satellite speakers, and a subwoofer with integrated audio decoder and six-channel amplifier.

Plus, there's the obligatory remote control.

There's also a choice of Hall or Theatre effects modes to provide a surround sound effect from standard stereo sound.

It comes with optical and coaxial digital outputs to let you connect to a standalone DVD player, DVD-ed PC or a CD/MD system.

Coming in living room friendly black casing, the system is in the shops now for £399.
