Orange Business Services, the service provider arm of France Telecom-Orange and one of Microsoft's earliest cloud integration partners, has integrated its version of Microsoft Office 365 — called Office Together Select — with its virtual private network service, Business VPN Galerie.

The Business VPN Galerie service interconnects approximately 8,000 facilities worldwide. The new service, scheduled to be available in June 2013, provides a dedicated connection to Office 365 datacenters for Orange Business Services customers.

Simply put, the new managed offering adds VPN performance and security features to the Orange Business Services Office Together Select, which includes electronic messaging (Exchange), instant messaging and web conferencing (Lync), and collaboration (SharePoint).

Orange Business Services' 2015 strategic plan calls for it to generate approximately $650 million in cloud services revenue (about €500 million) by that timeframe. In 2012, its cloud-related revenue was about $150 million (about €113 million).

The integrator currently counts more than 500 customers for its infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings, more than 4,000 for its CRM solutions, 1,200 for its messaging and collaboration offering, and 60,000 small businesses for its "Le Cloud Pro" service.
