The students at Chelsea Children's Hospital School (CCHS) are sometimes forced to stay away from home for months on end.

Without the support of the school, those with long-term illnesses would miss out on an education.

These animations were made by the students on computers donated by the Worshipful Company of IT workers.

  • There are five schools under the CCHS umbrella -

The Royal Brompton Hospital looks after children and young adults with lung and heart problems; the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital specialises in neurological complaints and burns; the Cheyne Centre takes in children with cerebral palsy; St Mary's caters for children with bone marrow disorders and those who have to be isolated; and Collingham Gardens Child and Family Mental Health Unit.

  • The school ensures that children keep up with the National Curriculum and part of that means polishing their IT skills.
