  • Bucky Balls and Bucky Cubes are both great standbys to have sitting around your desk within reach. They're tiny magnetic balls/cubes that allow you to form really awesome shapes. Needless to say, they keep you focused on something completely unrelated to stress the whole time you're fidgeting with them. I especially recommend these for those of you who have to be on the phone fairly often at work. If you're like me and you doodle on a notepad or something similar, give one of these a try sometime!

  • The desktop punching bag is for you angry types who enjoy a physical altercation of some sort to help you relieve stress. Next time, instead of taking it out on the poor soul who happens to walk by you at the precise moment you're a literal ball of stress, have a go at one of these and see how you feel! It probably won't make you the next Roy Jones Jr., but at least you'll feel a little less stressed.

  • Put simply, the emWave 2 is a handy little gadget that monitors your heart rate and lets you know what you need to do to calm yourself in moments of stress. The data it records can be offloaded to your PC so you can track progress and see what it looks like when your heart is stressing out. It's a great solution for those of you who are up for learning how to unwind stress via breathing and mental relaxation techniques.

That head massager looks like something out of a horror movie. No way I'm putting my cranium anywhere near that thing.

Doc has a lot of stress and so needs quite a bit of stress release. I'm putting in my order for all ten of these devices and cancelling my prescription for Xanax.
