Accelerometer

The accelerometer is now tied to hard-drive protection hardware as well as screen-orientation.

The classmate may look like just another
tablet, but there are a lot of design details
that set it apart from the consumer oriented
models. Every aspect is more rounded and
rugged than the existing offerings.
I have worked extensively with the original in
a pilot program at the school district I work
for and the fact that Intel put a lot of effort
into making these work in an education
environment really shows. The added
applications are not junk or trialware either.
The only thing I disliked about the original
was that it was too small for anyone out of
elementary school to use comfortably. Looks
like Intel has this covered now.

This is just a tablet PC similar of which there're already many on the market.
