Miami-based Origin PC puts its latest creation, the "Big O" PC, on sale Tuesday for a starting price of $7,669 and a high-end price of $17,000. The Big O does contain an Xbox 360 and, as Andrew Nusca writes, the monster PC is "the equivalent of a 2011 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle with a few thousand left over for leather and gear."

In six months (max) it will be obsolete.

$17,000 and it still won't play Farmville any better...

I wonder what the profit margin is on this beast? $2000-$2500 worth of components TOPS!

@Carrion - And if you must have your Xbox integrated into your PC case, then maybe you should spend your money looking for a bigger place to live!!
$17,000? For that, it better pack a car!

Why go to the trouble to make such a ridiculously overpowered system, and then make it so ugly?

@sapper80 right on the money- something that expensive should at least look cool.

What were they thinking? Minute the xbox360 goes red ring of death, you give up the whole system, just to get ONE component fixed! Unless the xbox360 is detachable, from the core system

not necessarily...

@hilhayls@... heat is the usual culprit in xbox 360 red rings. I'm pretty sure that's why they chose to make it liquid-cooled. The console gamers will want some assurance that it won't overheat.

That being said, it's still not worth $17,000. XD

Absolutely f****** ridiculous...
For that kind of green, I would need it to be delivered by Christina Aguilera in a bikini, and she would also need to be available to dance whenever I play Guitar Hero or Rock Band on it. In fact, I would also need Christina to bring a pizza and a six-pack with it!
imho

I guess you need to build a cooling tower to cool the cooling liquid.

What do I think?

I THINK IT'S GREAT!! For the price of a car (a cheap one), you give some retard a computer WITHOUT wheels, where it's safe to text and drive, drink and drive, make him deleriously happy and keep him off the roads!

I'd happily buy one at full price! I think it's a great investment for my computing needs. All I need to do is sell a few Leman Brothers shares... er... Hold on... I don't think I'm very good with finances.... (this is sarcasm. $17,000 for a PC? For people who have more money than sense).

Really?

I could buy a NEW car for that money.

At that price they should throw in a built in Apple to complement the Xbox 360! Why not add a PS3 and a WII while you are at it?

does this throw in a bridge in the bronks?

Needs a display in front that reads "CAST IN THE NAME OF GOD YE NOT GUILTY" when booted up.

The base model cost $7000+ and they were too cheap to throw in Win 7 Ultimate?
