Shoot out lineup: HTC Amaze 4G, Apple iPhone 4S, Nokia N8, Nokia N9
Cameras on today's smartphones are getting better all the time and in many cases people are leaving their point and shoot behind. I decided to test out some of the newest devices and put together an image gallery and video below from the HTC Amaze 4G, Apple iPhone 4S, Nokia N8 Symbian device, and Nokia N9 MeeGo device. There are other contenders, but these four are representative of the latest and greatest available today.

Come on, when you shoot a picture with ANY camera, you focus on the subject and not as with the flower, only the Amaze is focused on the flower and others behind it.
If that means Amaze's optics focuses closer, so be it -- but other pictures from that phone are worse than from others.
By the way, where is the fine detail in these photos? Photos like these thumbnails can be made with at least 10 years old camera and still look "great".

for close up shots (macro)' n8 needs to be 10 -15cm from the object (main focus)' then only when you zoom into it' you can see the differences of clarity'
