CEO Jeff Bezos today took the wraps off Amazon's first tablet, the Kindle Fire. The 7-inch color device, which resembles RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook, is expected to shake up the market with it's price tag of $199. Check out Andrew Nusca's story for more.

In this gallery, we've included some up close and personal photos of the Fire along with Amazon publicity shots. Plus, there are photos of Amazon's newest Kindle and Kindle Touch.

Does it allow access to the Google Market and Amazon AppStore?
@trippap so far, just the AppStore, although they didn't rule out Google uploading their apps to their store.

How intrusive are the ad's on the subsidized models?
@DrVideo They only are displayed when the device is asleep (not being used), and on the tool bar when you bring it up. When you're reading a book, you won't see the ads.

The Kindle Touch, which allows people to easily read on their device one-handed, is designed as a Barnes & Noble Nook-killer and will cost $99
