Are you aware of any app that a struggling reader could tap on the word and receive an audible version of the word. I am not looking to hear the whole book just words when a child is stuck.
thanks
Being a eReader is something the hapless Ipad is actually good at.

I have read 4 books on my iPad since I bought it 10 days ago and I LOVE IT. It really beats hard copy books and IMHO it makes the Kindle look pretty suckie. I read at night a lot and the back lit screen is perfect for that.

Can the iPad be used with the Kindle app to shop for books in Amazon also? I have a lot of Kindle books on my 1G Touch. If I upgrade to iPad or 4G Touch, I want to bring them with me.
@edmetric Yes. Simply download the Kindle app to your iPad or 4G Touch, then link the app to your Kindle account. All of your purhases will be available.
