I like to create lists on the TouchPad, and TapNote is a simple app that takes advantage of the TouchPad screen. The multi-pane editor is designed to make note creation effortless. The app can sync notes with the user's Dropbox account, so all of the notes can be accessible from anywhere. Notes are saved as simple TXT files for maximum usability. There is a free version that doesn't include all of the features. The paid version is $5.00 in the App Catalog and includes Just Type support, Quick Text date insertion, multiple themes and fonts, and no nag screens.

If you use the online to-do list manager Toodleoo then don't miss this app on the TouchPad. It offers full Toodleoo syncing and support, and is customizable to present your task list in any way you desire. The multi-pane views present a great look into your task list no matter how complicated, and like Toodleoo can be used with the Getting Things Done philosophy including tags and contexts. The focus view is great to concentrate on the immediate tasks at hand by shutting out the big picture. $4.99
