  Thin it is, but I don't know any execs that will want to whip out a purple laptop. Dell needs to learn that angular is not "sleek" and that a machine with netbook specs should never be labeled as "powerful". We know how the Adamo caught the world on fire...Another failure.
  
  I run a 17" Precision M6400. While heavy, it is relatively thin and definitely powerful. I am no stranger to Dell but don't care for what I am seeing as innovation coming from them.

  A another attempt to create a buzz. Problem is it's more than likely a terd in in new packing. Unless Windows 7 answers a lot of questions, can you see running XP on this?

  Not sure what people are talking about viz unreliability of Dell laptops. I have a D610 that I have used from when it was released and it has never missed a beat. I bought a used one for one kid in college and it has not had a hiccup in 4 years. Bought my wife and other kid in college a D630- same thing- not a problem. All running XPsp3 and they all work fine. In fact, I have taken my old Inspirion 4150 and turned it into an Umbuntu machine and it works every day without a problem.
  
  I can only speak to my experience but Dell has never let me down, which is more than can be said for our business HP laptops, which have had 35% failure rate.
