    It's not clear to me why American manufacturers are spitting in the wind. Despite worldwide acceptance of cheap, light netbooks they keep homing the cows will go back in the barn.

    Check this out, a $120 netbook from china that weighs only 0.8 kg ...and it will probably sell for half that in a year:

    For $200 more; base system has 1.3 Celeron with 2GB RAM. 100 times better than a "netbook"...
