  • Seamless messaging allows you and your friend to use different messaging systems to carry on a conversation.

  • Seamless messaging allows a person who prefers to communicate by e-mail to send a message to a person who is using chat. When the chatter returns the message in chat, it takes the form of an e-mail.

  • You can also communicate with a person using SMS on a cell phone.
