I tried to use IE and only after a week I went back to firefox finding the functionality on firefox easier to use. Microsoft seems to always over complicate their software. I stopped using IE as I found it started to slow down my PC and was eating up memory.
Either your pictures are mis-captioned or the graph in the last picture is wrong, as you state that Opera 9.5b1 has the 67/100 not Firefox 3.0b4 (which you show to have 60/100)
Yeah, I think the ACID3 test sheets need to be reviewed, I think the one that's currently captioned "Firefox 3 beta 4" should be beta 3, and the Opera one should be Firefox 3 beta 4, at least according to the graph at the end. Anyway it's an impressive set of results for FF. Won't use any other!
I really like the new, improved UI. These icons and clean and clear - just what you need!
Gee.. It looks a LOT like IE7... Go figure...

Sure doesn't work like IE7. Way faster on machine similarly configured to my XP box. Been using Beta 5 on Linux since the release of Ubuntu 8.04. Only weakness (bug) I found is Adobe Flash 9 plug-in behaving unpredictably on certain websites, i.e., hulu.com. Plug-in has no problem on same site using Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Ubuntu 8.04-AMD64. It could also be a 64-bit thing-using nsplugin wrapper to use 32-bit plug-ins.
Take the refresh and X cancel buttons, move them to the right of the address bar, then move the File/Edit bar above the address bar and BOOM, you have IE7.
Kinda pisses me off because FF2 had the "perfect" and most intuitive browser interface with all the buttons you need right there in one line in the same spot, INCLUDING the home button. Now home takes 3 times more space and 1 slot in your quick links. Also, I prefer having a long list of back AND forward history instead of cutting them in half to shove them into the same list.
I prefer a simple, nice looking interface in my programs, not one plastered with makeup to look "cool".
Aside from that, though, I'm looking forward to it, hoping they have a classic view, and if anything, I'm sure someone will make a classic skin for it anyway. Just wondering why nothing passes that acid test yet. Seems like they've had forever to get it working right.

Do you know you can MOVE the buttons? Just secondary click any toolbar, then choose customize toolbar.
I, too, thought moving the home button to the Bookmarks Toolbar was stupid; but moving it back took mere seconds.
I cannot wait to get this little dandy cookin' for ME!
Looks sweet; if what's said about it is indeed true as to ease of use, and speed alone, then I'm chomping at the bit waiting for the download! I will have a look at IE8, but regardless what's there, I'll be using Firefox 3.0

I think this is the best address bar possible on a web browser. Just ingenious!!!
I have been using Flock on and off and find it very good, but where it falters, Firefox 3 Beta 4 goes straight to the mark without any fuss at all every time. Firefox 3 Beta 4 is my default browser. I also have IE 8 Beta which shows some verve, but, really it's just too cumbersome and "heavy" quark@adept.co.za
