Each window app has a fun name. Otto, for example, is an animated character projected over passing scenery that responds to the vehicle movement and speed, the weather, and the landscape.

What this will actually be used for: animated advertising on the outside of company-owned cars or on taxis.

None of the uses shown are compelling, and the fogged-up window... oh c'mon. Yeah, let's find a digital way of doing something analog.
Mostly, I see it as a potential hazard because if I'm driving and a passenger has something animated on a back seat window, it's not going to be immediately obvious that the odd movement in my peripheral vision is on the window. I'll just notice movement at first.
It's nice that it would get kids to look out of the window instead of focused on handheld device screens or a DVD player, but it's still pointless in the implementation shown here and kids would still tire of it easily.

Just another distraction for Drives. How many accidents is this going to cause when drives try to switch lanes and see the pretty drawings instead.
