Gallery: Dell calls on its new Mini 3 smartphone

Mini 3

Dell confirms that it is entering the smartphone business with the Mini 3 in partnership with China Mobile and Claro from Brazil. The initial Mini 3 smart phones are designed around the Android platform. For more on the Dell Mini, check out Larry Dignan's post.

Dell says more details of the Mini 3 will be coming when the devices are available in stores. The first phones are scheduled for late November for China Mobile and late December end for Claro.

I may or may not buy any smartphone, but I am pleased to see another player in the market. The competition will encourage a consumer friendly market.
